Kanaka Murthy (Tanikella Bharani) is a miser. He wants to marry both his sons with girls from wealthy families. In order to earn more dowry, he plays a trick and keeps his elder son (Venumadhav) on an attic in his farmland, and publicises that he is going USA. His second son Anand (Vijay Anand) studies in the nearby city and falls in love with a girl Sandhya (Suprena) there. Kanaka Murthy agreed for the alliance with village's head (Benarjee) to marry his daughter (Geetu Singh) for 30 lakh as dowry. Anand challenges that he would earn Rs 30 lakh on his own and give it as dowry to his father to marry Sandhya. He joins a marketing company, GDM and collects Rs 9,999 each from the villagers luring them that they could earn lakhs of rupees. One fine morning, the MD of the GDM company turns the board and disappears. Incidentally, Anand also disappears from the village. Anand catches hold of the MD and gets back the entire money to win the challenge and to teach a lesson to his father.
