The film starts off with Dheerappan (cinematic character of Veerappan) getting killed by police. A journalist knows where Dheerappan put up all his wealth in the dense Nityamangalam forests. He dies in a firing and he hands over his diary to his colleague Basu or Bhavaraju Suryanarayan (Aryan Rajesh). Basu hatches a plan to steal the 'treasure'. He recruits a doctor Devika (Hansa Nandini), a guide (Jaya Prakash Reddy), a bomb disposable team (Vanitha Reddy), a cook and a driver. They hire a van and head for Nityamangalam forests.
